The Perfect Spring And Summer Color!

I love the neutrals and darker colors that come with fall and winter, but by the time spring arrives I am dying to dress Oakley in rompers and dresses!  My favorite color for this Spring has got to be yellow and I found it on the cutest Romper.

TODDS & LITTLES Sunny Romper

Oakley, like any little girl, is such a ray of sunshine which makes me think this color is so fitting for her. I also like that yellow is not only the perfect spring color, it’s also the perfect summer color. In the spring, it looks so sweet and dainty, but in the summer, it goes extremely well with their tanned skin. There's a reason someone wrote the song, "She wore an itsy bitsy, teenie weenie, yellow polka dot bikini."  I prove my point, yellow is a great summer color and this shade of yellow makes it double as the perfect color for spring and summer.  

This romper from the online children’s boutique TODDS & LITTLES is adorable in so many ways.  First of all, you can tie it in the front or back. I like it in the back because Oakley can’t untie it that way, but it also looks super cute tied in the front.  

The material is corduroy, which I love because I’m so used to seeing that material more in fall or winter. However, once I saw it on this romper, I thought to myself, “Why do people not use corduroy in the spring very often?”  It’s not a heavy corduroy, so you don’t have to worry about it getting too hot. I love the delicate, flutter sleeve details.  It also has a zipper all the way down the front, which makes it a lot easier and quicker to get on.  

Oakley loves to roll over and scoot all over the place, so the quicker I can get her dressed, the better. I paired it with a white, eyelet bow, but I think it would also be really cute paired with a floral headband or bow. This romper has definitely become a staple piece in Oakley’s spring and summer wardrobes.
